Are you a Mac user? Is the dock at the bottom of your screen your best friend? For all who don’t know, the dock is a graphical bar at the bottom or on the side of the screen standard on Macs that allows for easy access to Applications and open files.

The Travelers Privacy Protection Act is a piece of legislation which was recently announced which limits “the searches of laptops or other electronic devices to cases where customs agents have reasonable suspicion of illegal activity.”
Currently, anyone traveling outside of the US with any electronic devices can be demanded to give their passwords, have the devices confiscated for as long as the government wants, and have their privacy invaded by agents who are legally allowed to view, scan, and copy any information on the device. The new piece of legislation would limit who can be targeted, and would limit the time required for searches.
